Job Title: Delivery Drivers Supervisor

Location: Abbotsford, BC

Salary: $30.77/Hour for 40 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible

Job Description:

Escape Transport Ltd is looking for delivery driver supervisor who will be supervising employees who transport cargo to and from specified locations.

Job Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of workers who operate trucks
• Oversees the loading and unloading of company vehicles
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other departments
• Ensure all equipment inspections are completed and vehicle registration and inspection reports are updated
• Ensure all payroll and timekeeping records are accurate and reported in a timely manner to Management and payroll department
• Work with Management and drivers to implement and administer company safety and accident reporting policies and procedures to measure and reduce the occurrence and cost of collisions, injuries, near-misses, and equipment damage
• Handle all incoming calls and ensure timely responses to customers, vendors, drivers, carriers, etc., communicating any issues to drivers and Operations Management as needed
• Organize and direct all relevant activities in a manner to ensure safe, cost effective, on-time operating performance

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a driver or in transportation operations are usually required
• Completion of High School required
• Strong computer, MS office and telephone skills
