Job Description:
FV Limitless Construction is looking for a Drywall Installer responsible for installing wallboards to ceilings or to interior walls of buildings and applying plaster. Apply or mount acoustical tiles or blocks, strips, or sheets of shock-absorbing materials to ceiling and walls of buildings.
Job responsibilities include:
- Apply drywall to walls or ceilings
- Measure, Cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
- Reads blueprints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures and material and tool requirement
- Removes plaster, drywall or paneling using crowbar and hammer
- Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs
- Fill joints, holes and cracks with compound using a trowel and broad knife
- Smooth out imperfections and sand areas after each coast
- Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects
- Able to determine the kinds of tools and equipment needed to do a job
- Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses and buildings
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles
- Knowledge of machines and power tools used for repair and maintenance
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience required
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Language: English
