We are looking for safety and service oriented professional AZ truck Driver who is reliable, organized, and excellent team player.
As a Truck-Trailer Driver, you will perform all or some of the following duties:
● Professionalism in customer service.
● Load and unload goods.
● Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
● Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
● Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
● Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
● Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
● Willing to travel overnight.
● Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, trip computer.
● Driver logbook, Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).
● Drive manual transmission vehicle.
Language Requirements: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Experience an asset
Employment conditions: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime
Terms of employment: Full Time / Permanent (30 to 40 hours / week), Paid Vacation
Compensation: CAD $34.10 /hour
Transportation/Travel Experience: Local, Short haul
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer
Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): AZ class license.
Communication systems experience: Operate GPS and other navigation equipment, trip computer.
Security and Safety: Valid Passport, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check, drug test.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling Heavy Loads, Overtime required, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Sitting
