  • Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Plan and direct Chinese food preparation and cooking activities of the restaurant including a variety of Cantonese dishes and other Chinese dishes
  • Consult with owner regarding weddings, banquets and specialty functions
  • Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labour costs
